Noor Rana

I’m Noor. An experienced English language teacher of 6 years. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in 3 different countries and have taught in K-12 Schools, IB International Schools as well as Adult ESL educational institutes where I focus on General English as well as CELPIP and IELTS Exam preparation.
In terms of my qualifications, I always strive to better myself, develop my skills and learn in order to educate. I have a bachelor's degree in English Literature after which I pursued a career in teaching. I completed a TEFL certification from the University of Toronto and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Education from the University of Dundee in Scotland. Soon after, I completed my Cambridge CELTA certificate where I did my teaching practice modules virtually which further equipped me with the tools to effectively teach online.
My teaching motto has always been student-centered. I’ve always believed in catering to individual needs and ensuring that lessons are carefully designed to fulfill student goals in the most effective way possible.

Hi, my name is Vahid and I am an experienced IELTS/CELPIP teacher currently residing in Vancouver, BC.
I started my teaching career 15 years ago right after receiving my bachelor's degree in Teaching English. Now with extensive experience, a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from the University of Victoria and CELPIP/TESL teaching certificates, I am confident I can use my insights and experience to ensure students meet their various English needs including high scores on proficiency exams (IELTS, CELPIP, TOEFL) as well as the ability to use English for work/study purposes.
In addition to that, teaching in several countries including Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, and Canada as well as working with non-native students from diverse backgrounds have sharpened my sensitivity to the varying needs of international students.
Beyond my rich teaching experience and qualifications, I am confident my capabilities for teaching groups and individuals can help students of all ages and language abilities achieve their goals

I am Shaalan Aldosky, born in Zakho city. Being one of the top graduate students of College of Education/ Salahaddin University/ Erbil, in 2013, I was nominated for a scholarship to study Master Degree in BioScience at University of Nottingham/ United Kingdom, and TESOL Diploma at LCC-ISS Language & Career College of BC/ Canada.
I had vast experience teaching advance English level for masters & PhD Candidates at multiple universities. Also taught English via Zoom application for College of Engineering- Biomedical Engineering, and teaching IELTS for Postgraduate Candidates.
I have a rich experience over 15 years in teaching ESL and 6 years in teaching IELTS & TOEFL courses for private and class sessions.

Caring, dedicated and experienced ESL teacher with a master’s degree in teaching English as a foreign language with love for empowering others. Able to act as a facilitator of learning experience by creating a comprehensive curriculum that meets educational requirements. So, I may contribute my education, training and knowledge related to the development and educational needs of learners.
I enjoy teaching IELTS for students who aimed to immigrate abroad and am experienced teaching in multicultural settings. Also, CELPIP is my other expertise with 94% success of my students in the test.
I’ve had the experience of being on both sides of the table as an EFL/ESL student and an ESL teacher. I have tremendous empathy for and connection with my students, likely because I know exactly what they are going through. I believe that all students are capable of learning and I hope to make a difference in the lives of all my students.
Andrew Wang

Hi, this is Andrew. I am a TESOL-certified English teacher. In 2021, I completed CELTA, which is a more prestigious teaching certificate granted by Cambridge University. Apart from that, I also have a master's degree in marketing.
I have been teaching IELTS for 1.5 years and have completed the IELTS Teacher Training Program endorsed by IDP. Within my IELTS lessons, you would be able to gain a lot of tactics and skills that can be used in your preparation and the exam. For example, In the IELTS speaking test, prior preparation for seasonal topics and less common expression are essential for test-takers to score an ideal score, I will be guiding you to sort out your own stories to answer most of the seasonal topics and provide you with appropriate vocabularies that polish your language. We also will be doing lots of speaking practice to improve your fluency and pronunciation.
In addition to IELTS, I have taught ESL courses to beginners and intermediate learners for 8 months. I am supportive, conscientious, and kind to students. In my ESL classes, you will learn English in a relaxed and joyful way. Lessons will be students-centered, which means you have tons of opportunities to speak out and work with other peers.

I have many years of experience tutoring English, including English as a second language. I started working as a tutor during high school and after I graduated in 2017 I started professionally tutoring with a tutoring and daycare program in my hometown. My hometown is known for being very multicultural and as a result many of the kids who I tutored during my first year of experience were ESL students.
My teaching style emphasizes meaningful learning over rote memorization. As my style focuses on comprehension over memorization students who tutor with me gain a true understanding of the concepts taught, and are better able to apply that knowledge in all situations.
This means that in addition to teaching your child the focus subject, I am also teaching skills that will transfer to any subject they take and will help them for all of their academic years to come.
David Holden

Hello! My name is David Holden and I’m an English instructor at Exiar Language.
I’ve been teaching English as a Second Language for over 19 years now, 18 of them in Japan. My experience has mostly been working at conversation schools (Berlitz School of Languages especially) but also includes working at public schools (elementary, junior and senior high schools) as well as at the college and university level.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree, and I have also received 2 teaching certificates:
Advanced TESOL certificate from the Canadian Gobal TESOL College (in 2003)
CELTA from International House in cooperation with the University of Cambridge (2020)
My CELTA certificate program was entirely through the internet so I have training and experience in online teaching as well.
